Boots

Boots

The nation's favourite chemists and have been for over 100 years. The Property Team asked Broadwater to support them with the team set up for a major stores development project.

What was the challenge?

Working with their brand partners, Boots were undertaking a major programme to refurbish every store in the UK and ROI with a transformed shopping experience for customers shopping their cosmetics ranges in store. The team identified that the delivery of that scale of change with such a diverse internal and external stakeholder group would require a game-changing team set up. Broadwater designed and delivered a team build event for over 150 suppliers, strategic partners and internal colleagues across multiple functions. A blend of facilitated discussion and experiential learning, the assignment significantly moved this group forward both as a team and individuals.

What was the impact?

  • Increased collaboration, recognition of diversity within common purpose, instilling an open mindset for recognising interdependencies  d sharing of feedback and focused on continuous improvement.

  • Greater confidence from people to have performance related conversations

  • A change in communication style driving better results sustained over the duration of the programme and beyond.

What the client thinks

Excellent! And just want to say thanks again to the team. We're hearing lots of positive feedback from some very engaged people :-) Graham Aldous Programme Lead
